Impacting global health is our big bold imperative. We want to leverage ancient wisdom through the lens of modern science. What do we mean by that? Among the natural resources that exist on Planet Earth, there are nutrients and phytochemicals and bioactive compounds that can affect immunometabolism and cellular regeneration in humans and have positive effects on health and daily function. If we act responsibly in our stewardship of these resources—if we commit to and support practices that are sustainable and regenerative—we can utilize these nutrients now and we can preserve them for future generations. If we teach people about their function and how to engage with it—measure it, track it, modify it—then we can create a worldwide community of health-conscious people who can teach others what they know. Along the way, we aim to do social good—create jobs, support family farms, respect our oceans, keep chemicals out of our soil, and connect personal health to planetary health.
